Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) was established in 2009 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is a public technical university under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act and recognised as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. The institute earned rank #31 in the overall category and #16 in the engineering category by the NIRF 2022.
IIT Indore is located at Simrol, Khandwa Road, the campus area is 501.5 acres. It consists of 11 academic departments, 13 centers, 5 buildings of residence and a Learning Resource Center having 3500 journals. About 1500 students enrolled here.
